Apple is rolling out a much-requested feature in its upcoming watchOS 11.4 update

Apple is rolling out a much-requested feature in its upcoming watchOS 11.4 update, allowing alarms to ring even when the Apple Watch is in Silent Mode. Currently, the watch relies only on haptic vibrations for alerts when Silent Mode is enabled, which some users find too subtle, especially when sleeping.

With the new update, a "Break Through Silent Mode" toggle will be available for Sleep Wake Up alarms, enabling both sound and vibration to activate even when the watch is set to silent. This enhancement aims to address past concerns about alarm reliability, especially after users previously reported issues with alarms not going off correctly in iOS 18.

Apple is expected to roll out this update soon to all users
